Would the P1006 be covered by Hushpuppy's foo2zjs-i486.pet, as outlined in this thread?
Umm... maybe?
They didn't list the P1006 as being covered, and you are supposed to download the firmware for many of the different models before running make install... but there pet is substantially bigger than what I packaged, so maybe they did include a lot of firmware...?
I couldn't spot the link, but now I do:
http://www.doubleburgerbar.com/pets/foo2zjs-i486.pet
HushPuppy's URL is no longer good.

Question: Are any of the CUPS .PET's or other compiled apps appropriate for Wary 030 or does Wary 030 require something newer?

Does Wary not include CUPS? Why are you asking about CUPS packages in this thread?

Because the thread is about a CUPS driver?

That's right. It isn't about installing CUPS or about whether old .pet packages can be installed in Wary... and no one even said anything here to indicate they know about those things. You've been around long enough that you should know not to pollute the forum and waste people's time by posting an off-topic question in a bunch of old threads.
Or have I misunderstood, and you were actually meaning to ask whether the foo2xqx package would work in Wary?

Yes, the rest was peirpheral to the specified driver - since the driver is useless if CUPS has a problem - it's all tied together

I have also been informed that if there is a glitch in Seamonkey the cache is hard to clear and that can also block CUPS and/or a specific driver from working.

I wish it were so simple as to just load the driver and go ... dreaming of that day!
