boot problem on compaq armada 1520D

Ladies and Gentlemen .... WE GOT IT !!!!

After all it was a combination of your suggestions...
You HAVE to make a swap partition
AND
you have to clean any win98 partitions from the infamous puppy001 file.


SO now it rons from the live CD and I expect the HD Install will work out fine.

HOWEVER... THE COLORS ARE UGLY !!!

I already saw some posts with people that ahd solutions for this problem.
I will hopefully understand enough of them to make it happen on my lappy as well...
