BTW. I also tried invoking the MUT mode from the Pmount preferences menu under Puppy 4.3.1 (IIRC, my previous attempts were only in Puppy 4.2.1). This time, it didn't disable Pmount, but it didn't run MUT either. All that happened was that Pmount took a LOT longer to open it's window. And when opened, it looked exactly as always, no sign of MUT, even though the MUT box remains ticked...
