Hence, clicking it has no effect, and install won't proceed beyond that step/window.
You need to set the mount point before it will become enabled. Make absolutely certain that nothing related to sda is ticked.
Root will as a matter of course need formating again. (ext4) The installer will do that. You will get a final sanity check and the option to abort.
