Semme I appreciate your patience and time.

After a good nights sleep, your original directions are clear.
I found the defaults list as you say.
Can now continue with Geoffrey's instructions and hopefully be able to open the new Firefox that I installed as .pet.

Oh, good. Yeah, go test and get back. If the change isn't immediate, goto shutdown and restart your X server.
