As a matter of fact, that Arch Linux ISO contains both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

Here is a little gem. It's Moksha Enlightenment 1.17.2 desktop on top of Debian Jessie 8.5 (all updated with latest kernel & updates---the greatness of Debian, imho). I made it this way-- I installed standard Debian Live 8.5 Jessie as the base to a USB (
Debian Live 8.5 Jessie standard has no desktop, login manager, etc). Next, booting up and getting to the CLI, from there I began compiling the Moksha Enlightenment desktop. After awhile, this was the result. Just simple, elegant beauty, with only the programs I chose and use frequently. Jeff Hoogland is a genius, imho. I may add more things to this overall, but for right now, sometimes less is more.
Enjoy the pics. (if you have questions about the install and/or compiling, let me know and I'll try to help out). Oh, it's running quick on a 8 year old Athlon X2 II Regor chip and 2GB of ram with a 10 yr old LCD Dell 1280x1024 screen. Sublime

I've currently trying the latest version of PCLinuxOS Full Monty, which is what used to be called a "Out house sink" distro. It's got a very full set of software - Firefox, LibreOffice, Thunderbird, VLC etc. - and works well on the whole except that sound levels on playing Youtube videos are unusually quiet - I've dispensed with PulseAudio (which is the default) and adjusted them through Alsamixer instead.
Like PCLinuxOS Mate, I suppose it's handy for first thing in the morning when you don't want to wake the neighbours though.
[EDIT: sadly LibreOffice repeatedly crashed when I tried to load a document in rtf format with it, although it was fine when I changed the format to Open Document.]

I installed GeckoLinux "Rolling" to a usb-3.0 SSD, computer is an Acer
desktop.
I chose the XFCE4 version,Cinnamon,Gnome,and Plasma are also available.
The package manager works well.
It seems to work well so far.
EDIT: I found out that there are 8 GeckoLinux "Rolling" versions including Mate which I installed to the hard drive of an older hp desktop.

I've just taken the plunge and installed Crunchbang Monara, which gives you a choice of systemd or sysinit on bootup (if you use the grub advanced options). It still won't enable the caps lock key for some reason, which looks more like a feature than a bug, but the distro is more visually appealing than most Debian-based lightweight distros (it has a very nice light grey / blue colour scheme and sans serif font throughout) and so I may well keep it nevertheless.
MX15 and Q4OS

So I got rid of Xubuntu (again) and I just installed MX-15, to get a small Debian experience without systemd (at this point I just blame everything, however irrationally, on systemd). Enjoying it so far. Very neat and clean.
But anyway a friend has been interested in switching to Linux, but is a pretty dedicated Windows XP user. Finally, in a desert without updates for two years he asked for help, and that's how I found Q4OS. Without the XP theming it looks like Win2000. With it, it's basically identical to XP in appearance (including naming conventions).
However, for functionality's sake, I put a Windows-using relative in front of it. She clicked around, saying "looks fine to me," found the music section and said "ok, I'm happy." I thought "nice" so I decided to send the friend a screenshot.
And then nothing happened.
Tapped it again. Nothing happened. I'm used to TAS or xscreenshot or basically something happening, but... nothing. So I looked up the forum where it was noted it saves the pic to the clipboard automatically-- which, upon a quick check, is basically how WinXP behaves.
Long story short: I truly have forgotten how Windows XP works apparently. But my friend should like it.

Continuing with non-systemd distros, I've just installed the non-systemd version of Manjaro (16.08 OpenRC), and I can't say so far that I've missed systemd at all; in fact, quite the reverse as I don't get processes which take 1min 30 seconds to run, starting and having to finish before the computer can boot up.
