I been working hard to get a right click package
ready for Lucid Puppy 5.2.

It gives more right click menu items to make
using your computer more enjoyable.

Here it is... Lupu-Right-click-4.1.pet

I corrected a couple of minor bugs and added two new features.

1) Archive a folder with a right click .
It uses pupzip which is clumsy but it works!

2) A pmusic playlist (.m3u) can be added to pmusic playlist
with a right click

Hey Brown Mouse. Do you have a /mnt/home? Use rox and go up a directory and then click /mnt and see if you have a home folder. If so, you should be able to install. /mnt/home is created when you have saved. Installing there was done to avoid putting such a large file in your save file and eating space. That is where all sfs files will install anyway.

But I still can't change tray height and to add applications .
To add applications: Menu -> Desktop settings -> fbpanel configuration -> Launchbar

Hi playdayz
Yes I do have a home directory so I'll proceed to install it there.

Thank you for the confirmation.

'This package will install under:/mnt/home.It can be dangerous to install files under /mnt because it depends on the profile of installation.Click cancel not to install(recommended).Or click install if you like to proceed'.

I obviously clicked cancel.until somebody can confirm otherwise??
FWIW I've installed it anyway on the betas and on 52 with no problems.
Sorted!!

Thanks tubeguy

I only want to see the tasks that apply to the active desktop I select...not all tasks no matter which desktop on the taskbar.

Thanks in advance

5.2 is awesome

#592 Post by Dave_B »

I have a full install of Lucid Puppy 5.2 on my Compaq n410c and it works great - I haven't found anything to complain about (and I've looked). Lots of things fixed!

Great work team!

Do you have an internet keyboard? Are your sound keys working?

Upgraded existing lupu-5.11 to 5.20. Everything works great . Had to reset icewm as wm was only thing that seems to have changed. One glitch so far, when I boot up I am now asked which personal file I want to use. It is listing 2 lupu-save.2fs files, which are the same, and I only have 1 save file on the system. How can I fix this so I don't have to choose during bootup? This a frugal install using grub4dos, dual booting with WinXP,and the only puppy install on the system.

Lucid Puppy uses Openbox as default window manager(':!:')(':o')
Now you tell me. So I've been using Openbox for days and didn't know it.
Well, now I am impressed.(':D'), This may be the best Puppy, ever.

I'll go back and mark by "problems" solved.('')
