hello,
for several months, 'acpitool -s' entered in console
has worked fine to put precise puppy 5.7.1 to sleep.
but the last two days it has woken back up immediately
without any action on my part. pressing the power button
is how it wakes usually.
precise pup is running off a multisession dvd-rw on an intelmac
desktop. that dvd has said it was full the last two times i wanted
to save session on shutdown. but right-click/properties says
the dvd has 693M total, all used, while on the face side of dvd
itself is written 4.7GB. does pup read it as a cd of 700mb?
i'm getting ready to transfer the dvd-rw contents to a fresh dvd+r.
would like to know more about the acpitool -s issue though.
thanks, mm
acpitool -s (sleep) stops working after several months
Booting, installing, newbie
