I am running Puppy528.7_3HD with a palemoon-27.3.1-p4-sse-glibc219tweak browser.
I am not sure what I did but I have completely messed up youtube when I try to play videos. For example, when I select a song to listen to such as Slim Dusty "Stock Horses", I get a page about 5 pages long of lists of commands, and other things which relate to youtube or sort of relate to the video I am trying to watch.
I deleted the bookmark folder which contained the youtube references and created a new bookmark folder and reentered the data in the folder, but when I selected one of the sites in that new folder I got the same BS that I described above.
This seems to be all I can get on youtube. How do I fix it?
Can no longer play YouTube videos

I am fairly certain that I did something to cause this problem.....
I don't think this was caused by the program. I just don't know what caused it or, more importantly, how to fix it.

The trouble here will be that you're limited in browser choices by Lucid's ancient glibc (2.11). This is why there are no modern browsers that will run on there.....
I do have an elderly Chrome package (version 26!), given me by TwoPuppies, which not only runs on Lucid, but will also play YouTube. You're welcome to try it if you want.
Let me know what you want to do, and if you're willing to risk it, I'll send you the link.

Start with a new palemoon's profile...
Youtube should work with the html5 but you can also install a legacy flashplayer for sse cpu:

Sounds good, how do you do that? I don't really know what a profile is or where to find it. This is an area I know nothing about and the palemoon forum is not very helpful....watchdog wrote:Start with a new palemoon's profile...

Thank all of you for the help and suggestions.
This together with his instructions on how to start with a new palemoon profile fixed whatever was causing the problem. I can again play youtube.com videos.watchdog wrote:Start with a new palemoon's profile...
