Use Splashy for Puppy's bootsplash.

#1 Post by normen »

I am wondering if there are plans to implement a bootsplash in Puppy. I am thinking of maybe using Splashy, which is kernel independent, so there are no additional patches necessary. I've been using Splashy with Ubuntu, and it's pretty cool.
The manual said "Windows XP or better" ... so I used Linux.

if you installed KDE on puppy linux then you can go to KDElook.org to find splash screens.
