how to create a bootable usb in puppy linux?

For a while now I have been trying to make a bootable usb in linux, I have tried bootflash install puppy to usb, but it doesn't work, it says: system not found. I would appreciate your help, I don't know much about linux.

Search in this forum for Multipup and Isobooter, they both do a good job.

Just for the heck of it I tried out the Stickpup installer in BionicPup64, which produced a bootable USB in next to no time, replete with Frugal files, EFI and GRUB config files of my chosen ISO, which was BionicPup64_8.0. One does need the original ISO image on file for installation.
I believe Stickpup is an earlier instance of Frugalpup, the more recent details of which which can be found at

Frugalpup can be installed as an sfs, which makes it very easy to use.
Stickpup installer as it stands in BionicPup64 appears to be the easiest installer for a USB that I have seen and is recommended for those unfamiliar or experiencing difficulties with making a standalone USB installation.
If this does not boot I would think the issue is with the BIOS settings.
