Puppy and Brother printer MFC210C and software

Hello,
I am trying to use Puppy on an old computer, with 308 RAM, I have 35 GB HD and about 30 GB free. I am using Ubuntu on the first part, BUT I did not make more than one partition when Ubuntu was installed. Which program can I use to resize the Ubuntu, and create a second partition for Puppy?

I have got a printer Brother MFC which was possible to use in Ubuntu with q special script by Bob Song dealing with a deb - file. Is it possible to use that file in order to get Puppy going on with that Brother printer? How do I do then?

Software for Puppy? deb-files with apt-get or rpm model Fedora Core 6?
