However, part of the program calls up Mspaint to display images. I've had very little success in getting Wine to run mspaint and was wondering if any of you had fared better?
Basically, I copied mspaint.exe and mfc42u.dll from Win XP to a spare directory on C: drive. Under puppy, I use ROX to get there.
When I click on them I get the following message from WINE
MFC runtime module
This application or DLL cannot be loaded on Windows 95 or 3.1. It takes advantage of unicode features only available in Windows NT
Any ideas? Using Wine 9.22
