External Sound & SimplePup

hello all.
i love my SimplePup (just the pup i've been looking for) and everything works well, but i'd like to use my Stereo-Link 1200 usb soundcard instead of what's onboard. the Stereo-Link hooks up to the amplifier of my stereo system, which sounds much better than the el cheap-o computer speakers.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
