gFTP

#1 Post by donde »

I used gFTP to look at my web site, and I see all the files including .jpg files. But, I can't seem to view any pictures. I even transfered a picture to the Puppy box, and I see the file. If I select the .jpg and right click, there is a View option. A blank window box opens, but no picture. At the bottom of screen task bar, it shows what is going on. Like it puts the picture in a tmp folder, and then deletes it, almost instantly. This problem with gFTP shows up in Ubuntu too.

while gftp is open, choose FTP on the menu, then click on the "general" tab. Where it reads "View program:", enter /usr/local/bin/mtpaint.
Click "apply", then "ok".

Thanks very much! It worked. I saw that option, did not know how to to find a viewer folder, such as the one you suggested. Is there any other picture viewer that would work too?
