Is anyone running on a satellite connection?
I'm getting sick of only 32000bps on dialup! (location problem not tel)
They use a icon ipstar router modem.
I am considering using skymesh as they allow prepaid service rather than the usual creditcard/bank order and I prefer to control outgoings.
They also have a decent plan and a 11pm to 9am offpeak window.
thanks

test
answering myself as i'm now on sat
using puppy 4.3.1 and a ipstar modem
there were no problems once the first dns was entered and the auto dhcp was pushed
it even seems to monitor the link and restarts it if it drops, much to win users chargrin
only problem found so far relates to downloading and that is solved just with a pause & restart if it locks up due to linkdrop, a newsance, not a problem
