As the name already suggests, ncdu is an ncurses version of the famous old 'du' unix command. It provides a fast and easy interface to your harddrive. Where is your disk space going? Why is your home directory that large? ncdu can answer those questions for you in just a matter of seconds!

Website

Install and do ncdu in a console.
Lots of choices in the menu.

Thanks for posting this. The ncdu program is okay, but more importantly, the links on the page led me to something I was looking for a long time ago -gdmap for GTK-1.2. Now that is sweet!
That was the last program on my most-wanted GTK-1.2 proggies list that I suspected or hoped might really be available for gtk1. Now if only the authors of gtkdialog and isomaster would help me out with gtk1 versions of their programs...

Actually, there were several interesting programs linked to on that page...

Old Topic, Pelo, beware the dogs ! Would be better in file managers sections. Jump there.
Pizzagood, once upon a time, told that unsorted should not be used, unless newbies ignore where to post.
