My topic has gone?

#1 Post by NickBiker »

Hi
I just wondered where my topic on here has gone?

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 753#241753

Seems to have disappeared? I have searched for "Kernel Compile" (topic title) but no joy...?

Thanks
Nick

Sometimes a moderator moves a post to another forum.
Could have happened here.
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).
Consult Wikka
Use peppyy's puppysearch

Oh, but I have searched and I cannot find it - I had documented what I had done and so this was useful...

It could be that the title has changed equally.
You could PM a moderator of the forum you made the post.

Hmm, yes I see it in the "recycle bin" of the forum. I don't see anything at all wrong with that thread. No idea why anybody would remove it.

I assume that it was some kind of accident. I see that along with it, there are five spam posts all by a guy who's name starts with 'nike', so maybe Flash let the red rage of spam-hunting distort his vision and he confused you with that other guy.

Anyways, I pulled it back out and stuck it in Cutting Edge, since I don't know where it was originally.

I think I recall that it was in the Users forum, and I meant to move it to another forum. Evidently I mistakenly moved it to the recycle bin instead. If so, I apologize. If Pizzasgood is right, using the admin recycle bin instead of deleting spam turns out to be a good idea.
