Can't see pup_save.2fs file

#1 Post by smooth »

I installed puppy linux 4.1.1 (full) on a Compaq Armada 7400. I have the same problem with this
All went well, except when I reboot it fails to find the "pup_save.2fs" file on my hard drive, and just starts me from scratch all over again

Not only that , but it saves it to a partition that doesn't exist!
I didn't understand how he solved the problem.

I thought he was talking about frugal install (hence "pup_save.2fs" file)
afaik full install doesn't have "pup_save.2fs" file. . .

Smooth

"Full" installs don't have sfs files.

If it's a full install and is working, it has to be on a partition of
of some kind.
