Has anyone had any luck getting an Hewlett Packard 8100 cd-writer working with linux? I know it works because I just burned a disk in it in an 01 600 meg machine running xp prof.
I can not get any linux to recognize any media in the drive to save my life. It sees it and will eject the tray and give you all of its sys info with cdrecord but thats it. Any help would be much appreciated.
