Trainer failure

#1 Post by jfm2301 »

After many setbacks and resets I finally got 431 to use my DLink USB wireless dongle G132. We were surfing around the net and having a jolly time of it together.

But the next time we tried to surf again he had forgotten everything I taught him!!

Drivers were present but there was no sign of wlan0, and despite trying everything I know 431 steadfastly refused to co-operate.

Toshiba 1110, dual boot WIN98(sda1,FAT32) with Frugal Puppy(sda2,FAT32) using a Lin'N'Win variation. 431-Frugal resides in sda2/puppy431 with pupsave.2fs.

Where does Puppy store info about G132 drivers and module(s) etc? pupsave? or some other place?

Look in /etc/network-wizard
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).
