Lucid and Bluetooth

#1 Post by bh56 »

Evening all.
Has anybody managed to install bluetooth using lucid puppy.
I am using a lenovo s10 laptop. The bluetooth works fine under linux mint.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
I found Jemimah's post that had bluetooth packaged as a pet with its dependencies. However it was compiled for the 4.3.1 series of puppy. I installed it anyway but it froze my system (I using 5.0.1, actually luci-205).
I suspect it is a problem with dbus messaging system. Using the package manager in luci-205 returns a bluetooth adapter not found message when I know it is working on the command line.

Seemingly, Lucid has no bluetooth support. :(

I wish it did.

Would be nice if there were a pet that could take care of everything for you, including dialer. ;-)
