Hello,
I made a Puppy USB stick that boots on a PC. I used Quirky 1.1 to make the bootable key and the Combo option. Quirky made a fat32 partition and a Puppy save fat16 partition.
Now I'd like to boot the stick on a nasty little netbook called VD Tech MPC0101VD-001.
I read the online manual and there's no mention of the Bios, how to get into it.
It has a 4GB SSD card and Windows Embedded CE 6.0 installed.
The netbook can't be restarted, it can only be shutdown, there's no reset anywhere (as the manual says).
Any idea what I could do?
how to make vd tech netbook boot on Puppy USB stick?

I am just guessing I failed to find a description of your computer so could it be that it is a
VI8505 ARM CPU and then only Debian maybe would know how to be used on it?
Can you find example of anybody using Ubuntu or something on it that show it has a cpu that allow it for regular kernel to boot?

I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though

No I didn't find anything about that piece of rubbish and Ubuntu or Linux in general.
I'm not sure it's worth bothering anylonger on that netbook.
