OSMO is already running report (SOLVED)

The default calendar in puppy 525 tells me that another copy of OSMO is already running when I click the calendar the second time.
What is OSMO and how do I terminate it when I exit calendar.

The calender icon on the desktop launches osmo organiser. What is probably happening, is that when you close the calender/osmo, it is minimizing to the right handside of the taskbar. Click on the icon in the taskbar to re-open it.
You can change this behavior in osmos preferences.

Your analysis is correct
I had not noticed that an icon was place in taskbar
It closes fine by clicking taskbar icon
