Does Puppy run with both processers in dual CPU?

I have a dual processor AMD box. It runs Windows, but I'm sick of the update hassles and occasional bit rot. But I don't want one CPU to go idle. Will Puppy use both?

I tried installing , just as an experiment, and it came up ok, but I couldn't tell if I was getting both CPUs...

Hi Scott,

If you look in Start/Control Panel/xproc system info, it might give you your answer. I too have a dual processor, and the system info notes the entire amount of ram. I guess that means it uses it too.

I have read somewhere that the reason for the dual system is not for speed, but a way of keeping the machine cooler....I guess this means that processors are switched based on some heat indicator.
