You still have to read the fine print.
Some credit unions are just as bad.

I joined one a long time ago.
No problems till a new CEO came on board recently.

He never met a fee (or massive fee increase) that he didn't like.
And I've never seen so much staff turnover.

So I joined a real credit union--one that's much like the first one was before the new boss ruined it.

Bottom line: Take a good look under the hood (or bonnet ) before you transfer.
