Auto shutdown on low battery?

#1 Post by Sizzlechest »

Basically looking for a way to auto shutdown this laptop on low battery. I'm running lucid 5.2.8, full install. Thank you, anyone who can help.

Yeah, no. Modded pwidgits just hard locks the computer on a blank screen, causing an inproper shutdown. The "poweroff" command does the same thing from a console. Just black screen, and never actually powers off.

The right command is wmpoweroff in puppies.
There is another solution if you read the arf posted thread little further. I use the laptop tools to suspend to the ram at critical battery level.

Battery_check, which I posted in this thread, could be an option. Dromeno pm'ed me that it was working for him.
