I'm trying to help a friend whose windows machine has picked up an ugly bit of malware so I downloaded the clamav version in the ppm for Racy 5.2.2 . (This is the first time I've seen Racy - very snazzy, btw) I've looked and I don't see a menu entry for clamav, does it require running from the command line? If so, would one of you tell me the command for running it, please.
thanks so much

Open a terminal window. Make sure you have mounted whatever partition you want to scan (perhaps you want to scan /mnt/home, which would already be mounted in your frugal install)mystmaiden wrote:I'm trying to help a friend whose windows machine has picked up an ugly bit of malware so I downloaded the clamav version in the ppm for Racy 5.2.2 . In the above case (scanning /mnt/home/):
Code: Select all
clamscan -irl /tmp/clamav.log /mnt/home/
