PPM; Search with multiple terms across multiple repos

I find that searching for a pet one repo at the time and only for pet names with a single (part of a) word, may not be optimal.

So I modified PPM a bit, originally in Saluki and more in XOpup (mostly the findnames.sh script), so you can:
1) use up to 3 descriptive terms to search with (no wild cards necessary)
2) search in both pet names and pet descriptions combined.
3) search only the repo you specify or all the repos selected in “PPM configuration > Choose repositories

@Mavrothal.

This is a giant step forward. And, a welcomed addition for those of us wo rely on the PPM as the means for adding functionality to PUPs. Thanks for adding this needed addition.

I haven't tested as of yet. I am confused as to whether I should get a V2 PET or if I should get V2 "cumulative" for my SLACKO V5.3.3PAE. What do you recommend?

Thanks in advance

The only difference between v1 and v2 is that v2 checks if the repos are more than a week old and recommends updates.
I prefer v2 but other people may not want to bother.

BTW works in all puppies that are build with a recent woof.

Thanks @Mavrothal.

But, what's confusing me is whether I should get which of the following version2 products to add to SALCKO?
  • Filename:Racy_petget_2.patch.gz Description:Cumulative patch of
  • Filename:ppm_multi_racy-2.pet
Thanks in advance

The pet.
Is always easier to install and remove.

The patch also works fine, though will give some failure message in the latest slacko since Micko already corrected in Slacko a PPM typo that the patch also corrects.
In general as the post says, the patch is for developers/ment
