dpupexprimo-squeeze-5.X.3.2.14.2
Sandisc cruzer 16gb pen drive
dd to clear before loading
Boot flash runs thru program then shows error:
"Error mounting usb drive"
Pmount only flashes does not open Have to use ymount
This happened after installing workaround for puppy_saveconfig-version2.2.4.pet problems

There's an H-P utility you can use to reformat the drive. I've never used it. I think you'll find it somewhere on the H-P website.

try using this -
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal- ... -as-1-2-3/
I've used it a couple of times and it works well enough to get things going.

Flash
Sorry for not explaining how I finally got the pen drive loaded
First I used "dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdc1 bs=512 count=1" to clear the drive
Used gparted to check for any files left...Formatted to ext2 and set boot flag
Used Puppy universal installed2 to install to usb flash
While in install of need files I used selinux from the boot menu rather than mbr
Shutdown and rebooted from pen drive
Thanks to everyone for the info and help !!!
