Hello,
I just installed gimp 2.8.1 from the puppy-precise-official repository. In the Windows version of gimp 2.8, Python was included. In Puppy it is not. How can I add Python to GIMP, in a way (if possible) so I can also use "standalone" python?
Thank you
Hans

I was confused about python as well, but I found that python was needed for
opening ORA format files from Mypaint. It's not needed for the G'mic plugins
If you are using Precise or Raring or Slacko puppies I would suggest this link.

I would use the pet package there , not the SFS package , because there
is a small flaw in the SFS package. (Ubuntu packages are hard to package as SFS packages. )
