Once again I tried compiling with mp3 support but when I try to load a mp3 it just freezes on me so this version is for wav files only.

Here are the full packages of the gnome libs I had to compile for gwc. These are not necessary to install if you installed the gnome_libs_for_gwc-0.21-17.pet unless you want the full package for something else. For future reference, I had to compile in this order:
ORBit2-2.14.19
GConf-2.9.91
libbonobo-2.22.0
gnome-mime-data-2.18.0
gnome-vfs-2.9.1
libgnome-2.22.0
libbonoboui-2.24.3
libgnomeui-2.1.0
