I just downloaded Puppy Precise and I can't get the time set correctly. It is set up in military time (eg 1400 is 2pm) I want to set it up to am/pm. What do I need to do?

Thank you-

I'm not seeing the "Title bar and Clock" in my settings. Instead, I see...

1. Choose a JWM Theme
2. Tray Management
3. Window Focus Model
4. Keyboard Shortcuts
5. Application Launch Buttons in Tray

Where should I be looking?

Thanks!

Not having said what you're on, open the hidden .jwmrc-tray in /root and check that the 'clock format' line reads:

Code: Select all

<Clock format="%l:%M %p">PupClockset</Clock>
 Restart X.

Thank you all for your help. I now have AM/PM time. I also wanted to say "thank you" to the developers of this distro. I have tried around 50 distros so far, and I am coming over from Linux Mint. I have to say that the support here is great, and I am now a Puppy convert.

Kindest Regards! :D

This is good to hear TropicalRetriever.. As some say- Welcome to the kennels! We're not all dogs ya know.. :D:wink:

For you Ardvark, it might be.. desktop settings >> fbpanel (pfbpanel cli) >> clock.

Go back to the main tab and OK to make it stick.
