LxPupSc64-19.04+0-uefi-T up here for about a day now. The same hardware (Fujitsu S761), procedure, and results I posted in my +6 to 19.04 update of LxPupSc here and basically the same results. Smooth and snappy. No issues seen in either tests or light daily use.

Cheers,
Pups currently in kennel :D Older LxPupSc and X-slacko-4.4 for my users; LxPupSc, LxPupSc64 and upupEF for me. All good pups indeed, and all running savefiles for look'n'feel only. Browsers, etc. solely from SFS.

I just did some updates of isos and also the latest firefox sfs. I was using firefox-66.0.2-lxsc.sfs previously, I downloaded firefox-66.0.5-lxsc.sfs. I unloaded then deleted the old sfs from /mnt/home. After moving the new sfs to /mnt/home and loading it, when checking in Help > About Firefox it shows as firefox 66.0.3 not 66.0.5.

Thanks peebee, That's sort of what I thought, but can't see how it would change to display 66.0.3, as I was using 66.0.2 previously.

Did you allow it to update itself? If so you've probably got 66.0.3 in your personal save area....

I'm not sure, but sounds like what probably happened. As I am using the sfs I was getting the unable to update message regularly. I haven't had the update nag since swapping to the 66.0.5 sfs, so it seems OK other than the mismatch. I'll update whenever the next version is available and see what it displays.

@peebee did you try to mount an iso image on your latest lxpupsc and see if a mounted disk image will shown on pcmanfm sidebar?

No - new window opens as previously - only difference is that mount is now in /media instead of /mnt - haven't checked if these temporary mounts in /media are cleared down properly on reboot if they have not been unmounted explicitly .....hopefully they will be.....

No sadly not - its unclean - empty mount directory is left in /media - used to be deleted from /mnt.....

@peebee

I wonder if someone revised the pup-volume-monitor recently. Because on Thunar (using X-Slacko Slim dated 2017), it shows like this
Image

While on PCManFM + udisks2-volume-monitor on TazPuppy shows like this
