Ripped audio CD with Asunder & encoded it to FLAC

#1 Post by sheldonisaac »

May I ask for help with FLAC? I used Asunder to rip and encode from an audio CD.
Put the files on a USB flash drive, plugged into Sony Blu-Ray player, BDP-S3100.
Plays and sounds fine. But the display shows in the upper right corner
"FLAC - Kbps".
One would think there should be a number there, like 192 or such?

Thank you.

Sheldon

Many thanks, Semme! My low-fi brain is OK with what I've read: forget the bitrate, enjoy the music.
