How to play YouTube videos in Slacko?

I love slacko only problem is with video.

I downloaded video from youtube and got it with mp4 extension.

I accidently doubleclicked it in roxfiler.

What happens, I'll tell you what happens

It opens one GNOMEplayer with sound and another GNOME player with video.

When i singleclick it I only get sound

How do you play videos in slacko

please can someone explain?

Is it easier in Lucid?

Ok I updated to Slacko 5.3.2.7 with Vlc and now it works!

However xvid does not work.

Further investigation shows GNOME-player can do some xvid files
although some is just a mish-mash of colours
