Recovering from a bad session

#1 Post by 3133 »

Using Puppy 2.12 MS. Found that gftp crashed when I tried to upload to my server. Had to roll back 10 sessions before I found the last session in which gftp was working properly. Did my transfers and saved the session, but had lost the changes and data made in the sessions I had marked bad. Under / there is a hidden file '.badfolders'. This lists the folders marked bad. Deleted the the entries in this file, saved, rebooted and all my missing data was restored. Hope this helps someone who finds himself in a similar situation.
