http://www.smokey01.com/gjuhasz/packages/Blender/
Tested in Puli. Compatible with tahrpup 6.0.5.3 CE, too.
I plan to edit this first page whenever a Blender update is available. Note that older packages may be deleted from the above link.
See the posts here and at http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=98260 for the history.
Have fun!

Edit: I corrected the above link because I moved my packages from smokey01.com/gjuhasz/sfs to here. The folder behind the obsolete link includes a pointer to the actual storage place. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks! Haven't seriously tested yet, but it seems to run fine in Slacko 5.6.
Only a small glitch: It doesn't appear in the menu.
Blender.desktop contains
X-Graphic-Sub is not one of the recognized categories (see /etc/xdg/menus/hierarchy), so fixmenus wouldn't know where to put it.

My reference to tahrpup 6.0.3 CE
I meant tahrpup 6.0.2 CE with the patch that upgrades it to 6.0.3LazY Puppy wrote:Where is???tahrpup 6.0.3 CE

I see other references to it such as at http://lx-pup.weebly.com/upup-tahr.html: "TahrPup 6.0.3 CE is built by 666philb using Ubuntu Trusty Tahr components"
Sorry if I was misleading.

ROX zombie
With reference to http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=98260:
It seems that many apps (not only Python-based ones such as Blender) started by clicking its name in the menu "create" a ROX zombie process . Fortunately, this zombie disappears immediately after the parent application terminates.
Therefore, I will not replace the webbrowser.py module with an old "no-zombie" version in the next Blender.pet package. The old one will be available as webbrowser.py-nozombie, however.
Have fun!

Note that the default language is Hungarian. For other languages,
- 1. Exit Blender,
2. Delete the user preferences file ( /root/.config/blender/2.78/config/userpref.blend )
3. Install the NLS package from the same website
4. Restart Blender (now, the language of the user interface is en_US)
5. Open File --> User preferences; and select your language (in the bottom right corner, you may need to scroll down)
6. Save the user preferences (a new userpref.blend file will be created).
