How to run Deep Dream?

#1 Post by algyzas »

Well, I'm not new to linux, but was unable to package it. Interesting piece of software. Here are instructions:

I'm using tahr 6.0.2. Preferably without CUDA :)

From the second link you gave, it looks like it needs Python to run, among other dependencies. (I didn't bother trying read the white characters-on-black background writing on the first link. It's just too much trouble.)

Well, I don't think any of the Puppy versions I've used has come with Python. It has to be installed, as a .pet or some other way.

You may want to download and use the TahrPUP DEVX. Seem to remember it has Python. ... I think. May not be the best solution, but should address your need for testing purposes.

Tahrpup comes with a basic Python install. (There are several current Tahrpup app projects that use it.) But Deep Dream needs a lot more stuff. You would be better off using Debian Dog or Mintpup.
