Nah, that's just the start of the process, as far as I'm concerned! Once I've got the 'scrolling message' created, I then go to this site:-

.....and the fun's just begun. You can change the colour, brightness, contrast, rotate it, invert it, mirror-image it, change its size, slow it down, speed it up; there's no end of stuff you can do with it. There's even a YouTube tutorial that shows you how to use the GIMP to 'embed' a GIF inside a 'static' image.....which is how I created my current sig.

Just play around with it.....and above all else, have fun!!
