mr.nasty the 'son' has a mother. And an absent father who communicates with mum via the internet. It is my opinion that Mother (intel chip_set + other chips(at present unknown) on motherboard) is software enabled HARDWARE in the form of a PCI BRIDGE (that's the one WITHOUT a vendor ID) and therefore ...

Since Bk is unavailable. My Computer is Dell 1300 Laptop; 256M Ram & Intel_chipset mr.nasty is very VERY active on my machine - the only software that will run is Puppy - I've tried lots & lots of other dists. and for one reason or another they don't work. So I have a vested interest in seeing Puppy ...

Sad to hear next version is based on 2.14 - BUT should you get around to base 4.01 Dingo then could you include MUT & Xnetload as they are MOSt usefull to me. (there doesn't seem to be an Emoticon for SELFISH!)

Thanks for info. I've got a suggestion, instead of SAFEPUP, why not create your own using the "Remaster Puppy live-CD" application with a SECOND OPTION. This second option takes YOUR whole-system ,files & all, and burns them to disc - without the tweaking options. The only boot option being "acpi ...

TEENpup CLOCK
Hi John, I'm still well pleased with TEENpup - BUT whenever I look at the clock I quickly shutdown & rush off to dinner, only to be disappointed because I'm 90 mins TOO early :!: I've checked the system clock & that's ok; so why 90Mins into the future? Is this some ploy to stop me finding-out for 90 ...

Hi GeoffS Your better off sticking to cd - when you have a hard disk installation & it gets screwed it normally stays screwed! (It normally does with me - so I have re-Imaging software for windows & the system I described for puppy) Then no matter what's done to your set-up you can always come back ...

I tried the change in desktop image (lion sketch - that was the most Boring available) and it did cause odd problems. So changed back to the default and all seemed okay for a bit and then problems. So I re-booted but still had funnies occuring. There is obviously a connection - it needs a GURU to ...

I am fed up of having to remember to RENAME my pup_save.2fs file everytime I try or use a NEW Distro - why not take a look at pizzaPup's way and look for YOUR_OWN unique ?_save file.

Thanks for your reply. I resolved my problem by using the iso-cd-burner in 2.16 - I would have done this earlier if I had found it (a sub-menu of Multimedia) but I was looking in the obvious places System,Utilities,Filesystems etc. It never occured to me to look in an entertainment section. I'm late ...
