hi again :D yes i forgot about nop and having never used it i didnt know if opera was in it or not...so good job gray :D thxx for linking me too ttuuxxx`s Opera pet, now the opera on my 215 (buddapup) works great too... :D wife is luvin her wobbly-pup...but...every save attempt leads to x crashing.....

just curious..have you tried using the "puppy pfix=nox" cheatcode. it boots to command line so you can rerun xorgwizard and then save with the new settings.
ive had the same prob b4 and it worked for me on 2.15

hello again tombh, :D firstly, here are the dumps from our comps. The one labeled Dinodump is (obviously) from the dinosaur, the other from my wifes lap top (a complete success so i didnt know if it would be usefull to you or not, so..)).... as for installing programs i put p.s.i. on it and works gr...

worked for a few boots :D ...but back to the same prob.. :( X still crashing on boot..sometimes the nox bootcode works,and running xorgwizard only works 50% or less...soooo... pleze splain (or guide me to an explanation of) "fsck" your pupsave? love puppy but need to leard more as i am a n...

pupsave problem
ok..hate to seem ignorant but "fsck" my pupsave???...
anyhow...created a fat32 partition for my pupsaves and it works fine now..
dont know if this helps anyone else but it worked for me....

Loading pupsave file crashes xwindows
when i try to load puppy from a pupsave file it crashes xwindows. this has occured on many versions of puppy and on three different machines, irregardless of where i store the pupsave.
