Lobster tip
- Most ISP provide webspace
if you output your bookmarks as HTML
you can place your bookmarks in a directory
(using Gftp under internet in Puppy)
and access them from anywhere . . .

Muppy 008x was made/continued while I worked for a company.
The former versions were a private project.
When I left that company, I decided to use a different name for further puplets.
I also wanted to focus on other priorities.
Muppy 008 had a focus on german localization and should be able to be used in companies, that we supported.
For my next puplet I wanted a more generalized localization support, and the focus on private computer users.
I found a puplet called "unnamed", that already had realized several ideas.
So I took it as the base for a new own puplet called "newyearspup".
Actually I don't have time to continue it.
But I still use it as my main operating system.
Meanwhile, also Puppy comes closer to the aimed goals, and I think especially "woof" based on Debian will have realized all those points I aimed for Newyearspup.
As woof still is somewhat experimental, you might use Muppy/unnamed/Newyearspup or another one for a while, and then switch to woof, once it has reached a "final" status.
I think "dpup" is actively supported at moment, but I had no time yet to install it. It is a woof with addons, if I am not wrong.

newyearspup:

And yes, one version of Lighthousepup was based on unnamed/newyearspup, but I think current releases again use Puppy official as the base system.
Many puplets take over ideas/concepts/packages from others, so resemble each other in some parts. This is intended and part of the evolution
