usb multi-boot annoyance.

#1 Post by its-me-again »

hi i have been trying to set up a usb multi boot install after a few years. It took me some remembering and hiccups along the way. thanks to bigmike i have been able to get it sorted.

I remember back then it was easy i could setup many puppies and boot into each one as i wanted. and needing only 1 set of sfs files to use between all puppies was great.

now with so many different puppies built on different bases. it is annoying that each different base needs its own sfs apps. it never used to be like that.

one set of sfs files would be great because it cuts down space on a usb multi boot. Its all about cutting down the size to fit more on the usb. This after all is why sfs files where created to do.

what do you feel about this and would there be any solutions.

This might help, although it needs updating:

I think you want the "psubdir=" boot parameter.
