Hi Jay and All,

To use wget with a user and password just do this

wget -c http://puppylinux.asia/members/Puppyluv ... 1alpha.iso --user=puppy --password=linux

or use http://puppylinux.ca/members/Puppyluvr/ ... 1alpha.iso

Hope this helps. I need the restricted login to cut down on robots using massive bandwidth...sorry

:D Caneri,
Thanks, I`ll use that...Sorry `bout the bots, A..

Colonel Panic,
Yes, Ive been using Opera 10 for a month or so, and I love it..Id swear its almost as fast as Seamonkey...
Ive even made a Puppy theme for it..
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=283920

Do you get a latent black bar across the page when you scroll up to the top of the page??

Once I rebuild Icepup beta, again, it will have Opera 10 for sure..

3.01 is good I agree, the only problem is that as far as I know you can't run any of the Firefox 3 series or any other browsers which use the same libraries (such as Flock 2) on any Puppy earlier than 4.
I have no problems running Firefox 3.x on Puppy 3.01.

Happy to stand corrected, maybe I'll try Firefox 3 again soon. I'm in Opera 10 at the moment and it works well.

Pemasu did not know about your Icepup and me did not either so he has a thread with rather similar name.

I have a 17, 14, 11, 7 and 2 year old. Would not like to do it as a single parent though. Takes two incomes just to keep us afloat.

Very popular name on a Puppy. The Cool Puppy.

Dingo, I saw a documentary on our TV many years ago about that dog.

Guys I test so many variants of Puppy that my body tend to get overwhelmed so don't lure me into a new such phase of testing :)

I bow out now with gesture of graceful respect and start testing Kitty Linux whatever to get a bit contrast to all the barking Doggies so a bit of Meow would suite me now. Friendly Smile

So this Icepup 301 is that old Puppy 301 in another skin or something?

I mean if not even Puppy 431 works in my Acer then this one would not either being even more old.
