If anyone is wanting to use a simple video file converter to convert video files so they can burn the results to DVD, I found that Prism Video File Converter works fine and installs easily with Debian package (for Lucid Puppy). It seems to not actually install, but is a stand alone/portable? I guess, because it just starts up after clicking the exe file I originally downloaded.
Google it, because I can't recall where I got it!
Note to MODS--if this is already posted somewhere here, delete/move! I couldn't find it during SEARCH

When referencing some package it is always interesting to provide the link to the package page sso eople can read the details of it.
If it is really a xxxx.exe it is a windows file and wine is needed.
Maybe you intended to say 'when I click on the executable'
So pay attention at the wording to avoid confusion.

Prism is indeed a Windows-only converter, which has apparently also become shareware/trialware. ![Neutral :|](./images/smilies/icon_neutral.gif)
