Is Libre Office calc sheet landscape printing possible?

#1 Post by Antipodal »

But I have no problems with gnumeric spread sheets.

I need Libre Office because it can edit some mathematical formulas that gnumeric can't.

Have you had and solved this problem?

Using the console perhaps?

Thank you for your comments.

When Calc is opened...

File --> Page Setup should have an option portrait/landscape. Open Office (predecessor) did have this.

Thank you for trying to help me.

When I wrote my original post I had already failed using the GUI windows you have showed me in your posts.

Are you using Tahrpup6.0.5 or some other O.S.?

Are you using LibreOffice 4.3 or some other version?

Thank you and please keep in touch!

Thank you.
Do you know if it is possible to use Libre Office 5.0.6.3 with my Tahrpup 6.0.5?

Yes; in the LibreOffice 4.0.3 that I've tried, it's at Format > Page. The print setup should have a landscape option, too. (Probably somewhere under the "Properties" for the selected printer.) I only had it print to a PDF file, but that worked okay.

The LibreOffice packages from this thread are supposed to work with most Puppy versions.

Can Libreoffice print to a pdf file and if so how does this compare to your required landscape setup?

PS I have openoffice 4.0 on a slacko570 system and this had problems with portrait/landscape formats when printing via USB to a Brother HL2170 laser printer. OK to an old Canon S520 printer.
--- quad booting Slacko57NPAE, Slacko56NPAE, Slacko55PAE (with OO4, devx, Gimp) & WXP on DELL Dimension 2400 PC & DELL Latitude 630 Laptop using grub.
---USB-Flash booting same on Samsung N110 WXP Netbook and Lenovo q100 WXP netPC.

Thanks, you have given me a very good data.!!
I see there's a great number of packages to choose from.
I hope there's at least one that can solve my problem.
