How to change the boot order in the boot loader?

#1 Post by Larrie »

I set up an older laptop to dual boot using WinXP and Precise Puppy 5.7.1. Everything is working fine, but I'd like to change the boot order. Grub4DOS is an option on the boot up menu but I can't find the Grub.cfg file. Can I edit it from within Puppy?

Not clear.
Is Grub4dos the boot loader or is some other boot loader used with an entry to go to Grub4dos?

What do you want to be the default operating system?
Windows XP or Precise?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
