I've been having trouble with my old computer. I've had to open the case and blow a desk fan on the power supply so it wouldn't overheat. It's one of those machines with a compact case that take a special shaped power supply. When the power supply fan went out, I found a used power supply cost more than the computer was worth.
Then, a white knight rode onto the scene. My son scrounged through his basement and built me a machine from spare parts he had laying around. All I had to do was pop in a cd, copy over my save file, and rerun the video wizard. Everything was right where it should be on the new machine. All my programs, all my settings, everything. No muss, no fuss.
