No, that's good practice.

Always a good idea to consider one's save file "expendable".

I was just commenting on the term stability.

If you did, I think they might have run a poor test at the very least.

I've been up over 2GIG more than a few times with no problems.

Re: Started Again

I re-expanded the unleashed tarball and used the defaults and got a workable puppy.iso!! Not sure what I did to stuff it but hey it does work... Thanks for the update. I was at a complete loss as to what the problem might be. Kept trying to think of things for you to try and trouble shoot but could...

I just bought myself one of these: http://www.cz-usa.com/product_detail.php?id=31 I'll have to do a little trigger work on it, but I like it a lot. It will be my carry gun. Looks like a nice pistol. Just got this one myself: http://www.taurususa.com/products/product-details.cfm?id=23&category=P...

Did you find that there were any particular packages you had to load, or things you had to choose in the series of questions in order to get a working iso out of "Puppy Unleashed"? Best advice I can give you on that is, "start with the default packages and use all the default options...

#1 Patience

#2 Learn to test your iso with a virtual machine or how to move the files onto a flash drive and boot from there. Or considering a rewritable CD is a great idea. This will save the frustration of creating lots of coasters while you practice #1.

All seriousness aside, sure we could :-) I suppose the precedent has been set and if this forum were hosted in California and a forum member committed suicide, we could argue something like this on behalf of their family: Members of the jury. It's clear that my client's loved one would still be with...

If you just need to do a couple, use mtpaint. Open them up one at a time and select 'save as' from the menu. Re: Firefox crashes randomly

lotech wrote:Is that Flash causing the crash ?
YES!

Since it's not open source, apparently no one can do anything about it.

Although it seems someone on the seamonkey/firefox team could at least catch the error and dispose of it gracefully instead of letting it crash the whole application.

The very first thing I commented on after reading the verdict the other day was the fact that it now appears that the 'myspace terms of service' are law. I was ranting and raving to my mother how crazy this was, then I noticed the trial was in LA and I rolled my eyes and said "figures". Oh...

alsamixer in a terminal will give you an app to adjust all sound levels.

like paul says, gxine is wired up to one of them which is mildly annoying as it makes flash quite sometimes, but once you get the hang of it it's no big deal.
